Serbian fiscal printers comparison Since 2004 Serbia became a fiscal country. Adittionaly Serbian Tax Administration is in 2005. introduced GPRS terminals for remote readouts of fiscal cash registers. This article contain review and comparison of all certified fiscal printers in Serbia. List of certified fiscal printers in Serbia can be found on site of Ministry of trade. Since 2006. fiscal certification is also necessary for POS aplications. By Serbian law, all printers are obligated to have journal, unfortenately electronic journal is stil not accepted. All fiscal printers in Serbia are dual head thermal printers. They do not support Java POS or OPOS. | ST 400P is a robust looking POS thermal printer with capacity up to 60000 articles for 12 chars per article name. It supports cyrilic and latinic letters which are official letters in Serbia. His defect is lack of paper auto-cutter. Iskra S32 has visual and sound notification for paper ending. It's not widely used and has a smallest article capacity in this group of fiscal printers. Printing speed is his best quality and a widest receipt width (1 mm wider in compare to ST 400P, and 4 mm in compare to FP550). FP 550 is most used fiscal printer in Serbia. His article capacity of 65000 articles and automatic receipt cut-off feature recommend this printer as one of the best solutions for POS systems. Fiscal printer must be connected with GPRS device, which automatically sends information to tax authority on every request by them. Every model has own GPRS device, but some of them support more fiscal printer models. | |
