Company Service Plus has successfully completed the first retail summit. 1 Croatian Retail IT Summit took place in The Hotel “Aristos” in Zagreb on Tuesday 20th of October. Summit was attended by 70 guests. Experts from different companies that are top experts in the Retail Information Technology  presented their products and ideas.

“A new event for decision makers in retailing" definitely brought sympathies of people from many leading domestic and foreign companies. Representatives of leading international manufacturer of IT equipment for trade offered hardware and software innovation and new ideas in the field of information technology in retailing, designed and presented as the perfect material for public discussion and "update" your own attitudes and perceptions. Wincor Nixdorf company presented a review of POS innovation through technology, trends and changes in aspects of modern retail.

Datalogic's representatives stated their vision of the future and success with modern scanning solutions. Bar codes in retail were presenting the subject of company GS1 from Croatia, Aldata representatives spoke about the vision of a strategy to optimize inventory in the supply chain. Toshiba reported their experience in the field of application of mobile printers in retail, Motorola representatives emphasized the importance of voice adding to mobile application, as a new, natural step in the evolution of mobile technology. Online Software AG emphasized the importance of digital signals, as well as new challenges in retail. Topic of organizer’s presentation, Service Plus Group, was the context of outsourcing in two observations: real chance or hype?

The interest of the summit participants and the desire for new contacts and retail events are the best indicator of the importance of "conversations" about the information technologies in trade and deepening of relations, together with any more information they build the basis for future trade, at least in the personal meaning and range of each participant individually.
