On March 16th in Hotel Holiday Inn Dubai – Al Barsha, Dubai’s first Retail IT Summit brought together representatives of regional retail industry and the world's leading manufacturers. On the general topic of the Summit "Optimal processes for the increase of profit" spoke a number of prominent representatives of international and national manufacturers and retailers. Aldata presented the Inventory optimization across supply chain in Retail, representative of the Wincor Nixdorf talked about The Next Gen (Mobile) Shopper - How technology convergence will move the world into ME shopping. NCR representative approached the concepts of how Self Service means Customer Service. Hectronic with Mr. Jens Vogel, joined to the speakers list, too, with very interesting topic Customer Loyalty and Convenience in the Petrol Station Environment. Motorola presented Enterprise Mobility & Next Generation Retail. Numerous regional and world manufacturers of hardware and software for retail were found in the area of exhibitors, while the top management of regional retailers in the one-day event, found out what are the innovations in the area of regional and international retail brands and how to contribute to increased profit.
